Singaporean-based company Zimplistic came up with the world’s first flat-bread maker, the Rotimatic. The machine can churn out hot roti every 60 seconds.
Users will need basic ingredients like water, flour, and oil. The machine can handle the rest. The machine has 15 smart sensors and ten motors to measure, mix, dough up and bake the roti. The brand recommends using Aashirvaad, Pillsbury and Sujata flour.
Rotimatic’s input container can hold up to 20 rotis worth of ingredients according to Pranoti Nagarkar, the creator of Rotimatic. However, the machine can only bake one roti at a time.
The Rotimatic can only make roti, puri, pizza, and bajra flour as of now. The company plans to add tortilla on the list in the near future for the North American market.
The Rotimatic is Wi-Fi enabled. The user can control the thickness and the roast level of the bread via their app.
The roti-maker starts is available for $999 in the U.S and Canada.
