What are your plans for the summer? What exotic locations are you travelling to? Oh really? Not going anywhere exciting? You don’t want to get into any awkward situations where you are not understood, and you don’t understand what’s going on either. That’s too bad, the world is a big exciting place with so many places to see and explore it’s a shame to let such a thing like language hold you back. But now with Travis you no longer have to.

Travis is small portable device that can translate up to 80 languages in real time. Travis uses AI to translate speech in up to 2 seconds. It can be used to talk to the cab driver at a foreign airport, for business, or even for falling in love.  With its noise canceling ability and crystal clear audio there wont be any lost words or misunderstandings. It makes the world more accessible and brings people closer together.  It gives people from all walks of life the ability to communicate.

Travis can be used both on and offline, with 20 languages accessible when offline. So, in those dire situations there is still the possibility to make yourself understood. And with a 12 hour battery life you can get a full day of sight seeing and tours in before needing to recharge.

Travis is easy to use. It does require a sim card to be used with 3G and wifi  and once that is inserted you are ready to go. With a home button and four cursers (up down left and right) it works similar to a TV remote. Language selection is done by scrolling through the list and the selection is done by pushing the home button. The two flags of the languages you will be using will appear on the screen and with simple pushes of the right or left indicator Travis will translate back and forth for you. A short history of your conversation will be kept on the device for you. There is a business edition also available where all translations and original language are saved to a website so they can be reviewed at a later time.

The Travis Blue is now also available which is a lighter, more affordable version that pairs up with your smart phone. Whichever model of Travis you end up using it will be well worth it. Travis can be yours for $139 USD.
