Intel - First Prototype PC

Intel showcases 5G-compatible prototype PC at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Intel's concept is a detachable two-in-one PC featuring a 5G modem and latest-gen Intel Core i5 processors. No other information has yet been announced by the American manufacturer.

Lenovo Chromebook 300e

Mobile World Congress wasn’t only meant for new smartphone releases but many laptops were also introduced and one of the most interesting new announcements was a new Chromebook from Lenovo.

Also known as Chromebook 300e, the new product let you switch between laptop and tablet modes for productivity and entertainment. It is designed to be used in schools and comes with 11.6-inch HD touchscreen and is also powered by 4GB of RAM.

The 300e is also capable of accepting notes written on its screen with a standard HB2 pencil. The new Chromebook cost $279.

LG G7 (Neo)

The “LG G7 Neo” is also similar to an iPhone-like notch, dual-cameras, and more.

Even though LG officially announced the V30S, the company’s G7 (Neo) was spotted at MWC 2018. This device was spotted in a video made by Israeli publication Ynet at MWC 2018. The G7 (Neo) features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 6 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage. It also has a 3,000 mAh battery.

The phone also sports dual-camera system with two 16 MP sensors and also an 8 MP front camera. The phone is expected to launch later this year.

The Cat S61

At MWC 2018, Cat announced the Cat S61 smartphone, a follow-up to the S60. The new phone includes an enhanced thermal camera. The Cat S61 sports a 16 MP shooter that can shoot up to 4K video. It also has an 8 MP selfie camera.

In terms of core specs, the S61 has a 5.2-inch screen with a Full HD resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor (octa-core, 2.2GHz) backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

The Cat S61 will be available in the second quarter of this year, with a recommended price of $999.

Alcatel 5

The TCL Company unveiled a new device alcatel 5 along with other phones at the MWC 2018. The Alcatel 5 has a 5.7 inch FullView 18:9 display, brushed metallic unibody, and dual-front facing cameras.

The Alcatel 5 has Face Key which lets you unlock your phone just by looking at the screen. The Alcatel 5 also offers a fingerprint reader on the back similar to the one on the Google Pixel 2.
