After admitting to intentionally slowing down older iPhones to “preserve battery life”, Apple is now facing instant karma as five iPhone owners  took their discontent to a New York court yesterday seeking a class-action status over the lawsuit.

Elon Musk says he will make make a pickup truck right after Model Y in a Twitter response, and describes the pickup may be slightly bigger thanFord’s F-150 “for a game-changing feature” he would like to add. Model Y is Tesla’s next generation small SUV and is expected to be launched in 2020. 

Websites playing hide-and-seek with adblockers

Ads are an annoying acquaintance we made online so we avoid them by installing ad blockers. But research from University of Iowa and UC Riverside tells us 30.5% of the top 10,000 websites are deploying measures to cheat the ad blockers, thus restore the revenue-generating ads to your screen. 

Alexa devices hacked

Hackers now find a way to remotely take control of your Alexa-based smart speakers. The affected devices include the Sonos Play:1, Sonos One, and Bose SoundTouch. The only comfort are  the hack appears to be prank work, and the issue sits on unsecured network connection of the breached devices.
